A bit about Carly...

I've had a huge passion for animals from as young as I can remember and have always had a soft spot for dogs! Myself and my fiancé Michael have 14 beautiful dogs of our own as well as cats, rabbits, chickens, hamsters, mice, budgies, degus, snakes and a bearded dragon (who all live together harmoniously)!

I have attended numerous seminars, workshops and IMDT courses and continue to do so in order to stay up to date with the most modern training methods and continually expand my knowledge on the science behind dog training and behaviour.

I am also an animal transporter and home check volunteer for various animal rescues in the UK and Romania and offer free training sessions to stray dogs adopted from Forest Lodge.

A bit about Michael...

I have always been passionate about dogs and technology. Whilst these subjects seem on completely different spectrums, I am able to apply the same approach to working with people and technology and people and dogs.

My experience spans across living with our family of 14 dogs of very different breeds, personalities and pasts (where there's always a story to apply to every situation), to IMDT training courses and of course lots of research into different issues.

For me, there's no better reward than seeing a dog learn a new behaviour, or improve with a behavioural issue.

I work full time in the technology industry but you'll also find me at every Carly's Canines class, working with Carly during a private session or hosting the session myself.
